Lauren Timek is a professional performing artist born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania. She has 25+ years of training in classical ballet, pointe, classical jazz, commercial jazz, contemporary/lyrical, modern, character, hip hop, pantomime, musical theater, and voice performance. Lauren has held title roles in over 50 local, regional and off-Broadway musical theatre productions. She made her Broadway debut in 2000 appearing in Broadway’s “The Nutcracker” and again in 2001 for Broadway’s “Cinderella” alongside of Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” She was then selected as an ensemble dancer and character actress in Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Most recently, Lauren reprised her favorite role as “Belle” from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” at Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre, a charter member of American National Theatre and Academy. Lauren is also an Executive Lead Director (top 1% of the company) with LimeLife by Alcone, an all-natural, professional grade makeup and skin care company. Lauren has been doing makeup for the stage for many years as a professional performer and knows how to keep skin safe while being “stage ready.”
